Inspiration

Room Seven.

The inspiration for my patch work design for my raincoat was the Children's clothes designer, room seven. I did some research on Children designers to give me an idea on suitable colours and designs. When i came across this patch work design i knew this was the sort of pattern i wanted to produce.

Raincoats

For my final design, i put a patchwork effect i produced onto a raincoat template.

I designed the patchwork as an example in my sketchbook and later decided i would use it as my final design.

I also changed the colour theme of the patchwork example to suit both genders.

A trip to the zoo..

Here are a few photo's i took at Chester zoo, a college trip that took place last summer. Although i didn't have a top quality camera, i managed to take a few decent images. The result of these pictures was a photography project based around the zoo.

Repeating a pattern..

Here is an example of repeating a pattern. I used this method for my fashion prints project, where i designed a Children's raincoat and repeated a pattern i designed. I suppose this is a method that saved me time and repeated the image i wanted to use and also orientated it in the right positioning.
